So as you all know, I won a Netroots Nation Scholarship this year, and I thank you all so much for voting for me. That's the good news.
Unfortunately, I teach part time, which means I get paid for days worked only. In other schools where I've had this, they have allowed me to file for unemployment during the summer. However, my current school will not allow me to do so. My last paycheck will be in the middle of June, and I have two months of bills to pay.
I'll need gas money for the drive, and whatever meals and incidentals I incur.
Any extra will be used for classroom supplies like mallets for my percussion instruments, and violin strings for my practice violins.
This is the first time I've done something like this, thank you all so much for helping out.
