One of the icons of my youth passed away this past week. Arthur Rankin, Jr. wasn't a huge movie star, or stage personality. He was a producer, writer, and director. But he worked mostly with animation.
He and his production partner Jules Bass were responsible for some of the most iconic animated television ever.
And I do mean ever.
