Yes, today is my birthday. On this day in 1967, at Frank Cuneo Hospital in Chicago, at 12:44pm, I was born on a gorgeous 65 degree day. The next day, it started to snow. And it didn’t stop until there was nearly three feet of snow on the ground. Harbinger? The jury is still out on that one.

I wore it for the whole game. When I posted this memory on FB, my beloved graduates who were there chimed in with their memories. More than anything, the fact that I touched their lives and made them better is the best present I can receive.
