Have we really become so small? Do you remember when we used to dream things, do things, BUILD things?
We cheer when wind and solar usage go up, yet where are the 15 year plans to completely eliminate the use of fossil fuels altogether?
Our President says “We will cure cancer in 20 years” and every pundit laughs at him.
We put a man on the Moon and now we can’t even send a man up to the ISS.
Imagine a world where no fossil fuels were used at all. Anywhere.
Imagine a world where to contract a disease meant simply being able to get the cure. Anyone. Anywhere.
Imagine a world in which there were new worlds to walk on—Mars, the Jovian satellites, Titan, and more.
I know these days the refrain: “It’s too hard”; “It costs too much”; and other such language. I have an answer for that:
Now, imagine what kind of person you are:
Do you just see things as they are and say “why”?
Or do you see the things that never were and say “why not?”
